Dr. Joby Jacob
Dr. Joby Jacob serves as the Technical Director at Encapscifi, our renown partner and is a globally recognized authority in the field of natural products and nutraceuticals.
With nearly 20 years of diverse experience across academic research, product innovation and industrial application, he has made pioneering contributions to the development of advanced delivery systems for bioactive compounds.
He is the inventor of several industry-defining technologies such as SAAM (Self-Assembled Active Molecules), DELT (Dual Encapsulated Liposomal Technology), FIL (Fiber Interlaced Liposomal) and more which have significantly enhanced the bioavailability, stability and therapeutic efficacy of nutraceutical products.
Dr. Jacob’s expertise lies in creating novel encapsulation platforms using innovative natural ingredients like plant nanofibers, proteins and lecithin to improve supplement delivery and performance. His research spans the pharmacological potential of natural compounds, focusing on their antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and anticancer properties.
With over 60 peer-reviewed publications, he continues to bridge traditional knowledge and modern science, driving innovation in plant-based functional foods and supplements.
Dr. Jacob actively collaborates with international clients as a technological advisor, bringing cutting-edge natural health products to market. He also serves as a reviewer for several esteemed journals and is the editor of numerous academic books.
Dr. Jacob holds a Master’s degree in Chemistry from Mahatma Gandhi University, India and earned his Ph.D. in Natural Sciences from Gdansk University of Technology, Poland specializing in nano-composite development using ginger nanofibers. His visionary work is instrumental in promoting sustainable, science-backed solutions for better health and well-being.
